Our adventure begins as we gather in front of our agency at 10:00 in the morning. Our first stop is the heart of Machka, where we indulge in some activities and pause for a refreshing tea break that lasts 20 minutes. From there, we proceed to the Sumela road route, capturing picturesque moments at the Asmalı Bridge before commencing our monastery tour. This sacred place rests 300 meters above the valley within the Sumela Monastery Altindere National Park area, approximately 15 km from the center of Machka.

The guided tour of the monastery, lasting about 1.5 hours, unveils the intricate architecture and rich history of this hidden gem. Following the tour, we offer free time for exploration and a well-deserved lunch break at the facilities located below the monastery in Chosandere. For those craving a dose of nature, you can opt to have breakfast in this serene setting. Our return journey to Trabzon begins at 14:00.
